Rhetorical Ruse
Convincing someone who hasn't reached the fullness of his maturity, or cannot progress further than the base, would demand no more than to bury your argument in humility, and present it with flattery.
Depending on the subject's self-esteem, the inverse would be more successful: bury it in flattery, or arrogance, and present it with humbling, degrading language.

Splinters
Man's ceaseless mind-itch, turns him into a dancer - restless body movements trying to find the spot sending the message to his brain to scratch.
Some are fortunate enough to be born with natural grace; their movements appear calculated, smooth, precise, as if they were following a choreography.
No, "as if", they are following a choreography.
One they pieced together over years of practice, with moments of disgrace.
The best ones love to talk about dancing, while they perform a pirouette, and a spectacular leap of faith.
We can turn the subject inside out, and also say that oftentimes a thinker, will feel a physical itch, and seek out its source, inside his thoughts.
He will mentally convulse and twist and turn, performing linguistic twists and turns, desperate to find the source and scratch it.
Some, if they are also naturally gifted, appearing suave and charming as they leap and flip with such mental graces that the observer is convinced it has been prepared beforehand.
Such a mind loves talking about philosophy.
The word is music to his ears, a note, and he is both singer and dancer.

Divine Divergence
Esoteric/Exoteric Socrates....nice words to describe the raw - a drape to cover the rotting corpse, letting the smell confuse those who cannot make sense of the form covered.
Why bury when you can cover in plain sight?
Do not tell them what you think, tell them what you think they want to think, and let the rest fall over the side, on your way to the destination.
Seduction of the Semite, who with numbers, buries, and steps over, on his way forward - progressing.
No matter how little you think of them, how low your evaluation of them, focus on the positive.
Take that little kernel of "value" and inflate it, let them do it for you, by seeding their minds with what they wish were so.
No matter how little the value you've given them in relation to your own ideals, in your mind, take what you can use, and exaggerate it, always in relation to your ideals, express it publicly, openly, so that their self-value becomes tied into your preferred destination.
Allow the audience to find in it a focus for their own needs, and gain a following.

Selling Seeds
Humility is how you start.
A foundation for what is to come.
Something to put the others at ease.
Then you begin inserting the qualitative, hinting at arrogance, egotism, elitism, always focusing it outwards to exclude those present.
Finally, introduce the standard you've set-up for them, and, without telling them, place yourself on the top 1%, letting them fight over who is there with you...when all of them, in your mind, are below.
When you've fed them the possibility that they, too, can find greatness, they cannot disassociate you from the positive feeling.
You become the standard bearer - the one deciding who is the top, and who is the bottom.

Gravitas
Past/Nature decides the level of resistance to be felt as less and what as more - a relationship of push/pull between self-organizing and the Flux of reality.
Our inherited aggregate potentials, cultivated in relation to the ongoing, (re)minds us, bring back into our awareness, this determined/immutable past.
We may deny and forget, but it directs, and (re)calls, calls us back to it.
Life, evolved in austere conditions (re)calls this on a visceral level - the body knows it when the mind remains ignorant.
What comes natural, is so from the past - a remembrance, a condition once endured.
Poverty will not be forgotten by the man who has come to know wealth; solitude will not frighten the man who has come to know popularity.
He adapts to the new ease, his path-of-least-resistance following a new direction, when he has added new energies, new relationships, to those he inherited - energies he has appropriated/assimilated from the world when he passed through it.
His accumulated wealth adding force to his movement, breaking through greater degrees of resistance, but also weighing him down, slowing his movement with necessary cares, with maintenance - a traveller will stop to adjust his backpack when it has been filled with mementos, slowing his momentum; it's weight cutting into his shoulder, and slipping off with every step.
Memories also inhibit our movement.
Such a man, still (re)calling his previous state, will find it difficult to decide which was best: when he was more youthful, and hopeful, light and fast, or when he grew old, and massive, pulled down by gravity.
A (re)turn will be hard, when he no longer has his previous ignorance and vitality, but he can quickly adjust to what he knows so well.

Traditional Taste
Confusion of need.
A hungry man craves a particular dish, and confuses his taste for the particular combinations and method of preparation/presentation for his need for what it contains.
Taste evolves over centuries, producing a focus, or over a lifetime, due to cultural nurturing, producing a preference, but the need underlying it spans time and space.
When such a man consumes a food item, prepared as some intricate dish, appealing to both eye and tongue, he cannot differentiate the particular elements stimulating his senses, but he can only sense the pleasure of (inter)activity, and assimilation.
This is also the case when it comes to sexual intimacy.
He is seduces, attracted, by what he cannot comprehend, taken over by the automatic sensations the stimulant produces in him.
An animal does not know why it is doing when it is comes into heat, and is taken over, as if by some magic spell, by an urge, making it excited, frenzied.
It has no concept of fertilization and that is leads to a birth.
All it knows is the sensation it is feeling, and not the need underlying it.
To comprehend it, is to make the surrender to the pleasure more difficult, just as knowing the outcome of copulation makes engaging in it more problematic.
Ancient tribes dealt with the understanding by making the taking of nutrition, and the taking of a mate, into a ritual.
An indication of Modern decadence is the decline to the superficial.
Surrendering to the need, all he knows is taste, and the sensation of pleasure the food-item consumed produces in him.
He may show some paltry interest in how the dish was prepared, enjoying the presentation, but he goes no further, into the unpleasantness.

Green Tongues
A gardener plants his seeds, and cultivates them with meticulous, consistent care, to harvest their bounty.
But what of the wild-man who plants, for the pleasure of planting, expecting nothing but to see how his seeds will fair on its own?
What discreet distance will he keep, and how far, and for how long, will he roam?

Private Citizen – individual.
Root word for “idiot”.
For the Hellenes an individual was part of a community, and was nothing outside of it, making ostracizing a severe punishment.
For them our Modern conceptions of individuality would seem absurd, and idiotic.
Modern private citizens, with their American “individualism” is what they would call a population of idiots.

Hypno-Theticals
And if Odysseus was no King, and had no Queen and no Kingdom to reclaim, would he rush back to Ithaca or roam the seas, like a pirate?
Would the siren song tempt him more, or would he seek out one-eyed monsters to toy with?

New Age Orifices
Who was the "fool" who, prematurely, declared God as dead?
His spirit lives, unites, consumes.
How we fear and desire to be eaten alive by the divine - oral sex: stimulating the reproductive organs with the tongue/mouth/lips.
Words to seduce and inspire, giving birth to monsters.

The Second Coming
Take the boy out of Judea but have you taken Judea out of the boy?
Meme to gene...the body craves and dictates to the brain its taste.
Failing to find what it craves, what it covets, and needs, to become strong, and to compensate, it commands the mind to fabricate what can heal what ails it, and the mind obeys, for it is its duty to do no less.
From across the lands they gather.
The sickly, the cowardly, the weak and stunted - heading to the call within them, given a place and a time.
With nothing else in common but this dis-ease, they find in each other a community of need, and begin the long journey towards their common destiny.

Rebetiko
Rhythms filling the landscape with mingling melodies, ascending and descending in crescendo, one giving way to the other; randomness, white noise, as the din of background.
A world of notes, emerging and merging, above the increasing noise, and over that the birth of a steady systolic/diastolic drumbeat, breathing, in and out, giving the melody a tempo.
The Greek dances upon the ebb and flow, leaping up and settling down, joyfully celebrating his lament, rejoicing before the coming end.

Envy in Pride
A father dreams of having a son that will surpass him in every way.
This is easy when the boy is still developing and looks up to the father as one looks up to a teacher, but as the young boy begins to ascend, passing his father who is descending, one cannot avoid noticing a glimmer of envy in the father's eyes.

See no Evil, Hear no Evil
Humans relating to nature is reflected in the linguistic attitude starting with representational, advancing to dialectical, and currently involved in declarative.
At first humans began by depicting scenes from their environment, developing their understanding of nature's expressions, translating them into codes they could hold in their minds; then, humans began a conversation with nature, asking and reading the signs as responses, and currently they have began overriding nature's call, declaring and not listening.

First Principles
To the question “How man ought to live, within human societies?” which is a political and moral issue, one must first answer the question “How one ought to live, within nature?” which is an existential question that provides a direction for answering the previous question, placed first when it should follow.

Adaptive Nature
I don’t want to censor, or to change anyone’s mind; I do not want to impose my own perspective upon another.
I want to stop saving them from their own opinions, and having endured their rambling, I want their words to be silenced by their own actions; I want to stop being held accountable for another’s perspective.
I don’t want anyone to think like I do, but only for them to face the consequences of their own thinking.
I want to save myself from their perspective.

Give an Inch
When you protect individuals from the repercussions of their own thinking you get endless, nonsensical, worthless, debates over semantics and what “truth” is.
Then the value of “philosophy" is questioned.

War News
Words delivered with machine-gun succession, punching holes in the other’s pride, reputations bleeding out, spilling relevance into the sewers of data deluge; verbal explosions destroying all in their symbolic radius, names hemorrhaging on these new battlefields of the coldest war, a frozen one, a metaphorical one.
Everything is transferred, moved, transposed from one abstraction to another – nothing is, as it seems, nothing means what it says, a pall of vague uncertainty settles over the front-lines: hot-air warfare choking throats silent; the only conviction that nobody is ever convinced – take no prisoners.
Verbal sniper attacks, character assassinating the leadership, when his words are making an impact, rallying a force for a final push; then left to ramble on, talking to himself, or to a select few, a discriminating clique, in a world of “free-speech”, because there is no more danger in his emblematic expressions – nobody takes notice when the numbers are not there.
It’s all relative… to numbers.
Propaganda bombs obliterating entire groups with fiery rhetoric – minds taken hostage, never to be exchanged: no mercy for the enemy, no respect; women and children go first, taken as bounty, and the men left to a slow death on the battlefields of pecuniary tokens, if they cannot be reduced to the level of a woman and/or a child.
Another regeneration lost, but not dead. They shuffle on, appearing substantial, but missing internal consistency: empty husks of amalgamated organs lacking order.
The only resources of any value are human: humanity is conquered or remade into a new construct, stripping it, first, of all past, burning away its nature.
This is the war happening all around us, but goes, mostly, unnoticed by the common mind, anaesthetized to its verbal violence, its insidious linguistics; blind to its destructive continuance, its numbing compassion; deaf to the cries of its casualties, offered another relieving medicating word, to numb the pain and make brain-death tolerable.

All were saved when no antagonist was left to disbelieve in the Christian God.
In a final divine intervention dissenting atheists and skeptical agnostics were silenced, or disregarded, having been exposed as liars and evildoers hiding hateful motives, leaving the earth to be inherited by the meek, the still trusting subjectivists who could now vote-in God, under His new name, with a resounding majority, and declare themselves into paradise.
All rejoiced, even the "evil ones', accepting the win/win in Pascal's Wager as the necessary cost to the benefit of coexisting on a shrinking planet.
